Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment system that consists of a series of removable aligners that are custom created for your smile. This system is not only comfortable but also clear and invisible to the naked eye. The aligners are made of a smooth clear plastic that is created specifically for your orthodontic needs. Our orthodontist, Dr. Hoybjerg is certified to offer this effective system in our office.

Braces are no longer the only option to resolve orthodontic problems. Along with being virtually invisible to others, there are also other benefits of the Invisalign system including:

  • No irritation from metal wires and brackets
  • Easy to remove and clean
  • No limits to food or drinks
  • Fewer orthodontic appointments for adjustments

Each aligner used during the Invisalign treatment system is only worn for two weeks and is then disposed. During that time, the aligner will slowly shift your teeth a little at a time, closer to your dream smile and will be replaced by the next set of clear aligners in your treatment plan. The only time an aligner is removed is to eat, drink, brush and floss your teeth. Every six weeks, you will come into one of our orthodontic offices for a check up and before you know it, 9-15 months has passed by and you have your dream smile. That’s all it takes!
